On November 9th, 2023, photojournalist of Al-Ghad TV Saeed al-Majdalawi was injured in Rafah, Southern Gaza, while covering a reported Israeli bombing of a residential house.

The incident was reported by both the PalinfoAr Twitter account and Qalat Aljanoub Post, in addition to various other online sources. The available information indicated that Al-Majdalawi sustained injuries during the coverage of the strike. There are no other reported civilian fatalities or injuries.

The photo shared by Qalat Aljanoub Post and all other sources showed Saeed al-Majdalawi lying on a hospital bed. He appeared to be conscious and was holding a camera in his hand. Medical personnel were attending to him, and a microphone with a logo was visible in the foreground, suggesting he was working as a journalist at the time of the incident.

Where sources identified the belligerent, all sources attributed the responsibility for the strike to the Israeli military.
