On Saturday, 11 November 2023, at least one person was reportedly injured by alleged Israeli airstrikes on the town of al-Qarara in the Gaza Strip.

According to several sources, including the Safa Palestinian Press Agency and Facebook posts by Hani Alshaer and Atef Alnajjar, a house belonging to Abu Hisham Fayyad in eastern al-Qarara was bombed. Mohsen Sarhan reported on Facebook that the strike was carried out by “Israeli warplanes.”

Reports varied regarding the extent of casualties. Facebook sources such as journalist Awal Powell and Pal Daily mentioned a minor injury, whereas Hani Alshaer and Mohsen Sarhan reported “talk of injuries.” Further information and the identities of the injured civilians were not disclosed in any of the sources reporting on the alleged attack. It is unknown whether Abu Hisham Fayyad, the homeowner, was wounded.

Where sources identified a belligerent, all sources attributed the strikes to Israeli forces.
