On Monday, July 15th, 2024, alleged artillery shelling by Israeli forces hit civilians near the power plant (electricity generation station) located north of Nuseirat Refugee Camp, central Gaza Strip, injuring a number of civilians, including a child.

Sources, including Al-Jazeera and Radio Alam, reported a number of civilians being injured by the strike. Lebanon Now and Gaza.zay accounted for several injured civilians arriving at Al-Awda Hospital (Al Mayadeen) in central Gaza.

Al-Jazeera Egypt shared a picture of a young girl with a bandaged head, apparently from a head injury, on its Facebook account. Al Qahera News TV shared an image of the destroyed tents.

Most of the sources, including Al Qahera News and Al Jazeera, accused Israel of carrying out the attack.
