On October 22nd 2024, Civil Defense crews reportedly recovered “two martyrs and 10 injured, some of them seriously injured” as a result of an alleged Israeli attack on the Osama Bin Zaid school, located in the town of Beit Lahia, in North Gaza, the Gaza Strip.
Many sources, such as the Jordan TV, the Al Arabi Al Jadeed or Safa News, reported on the incident, however all the sources repeated the same information. Therefore, this incident has been graded as a “single source claim” and “weak”.
The identities of the two dead civilians were not disclosed in the sources reporting the alleged attack, nor those of the injured civilians.
The local time of the incident is unknown.
Geolocation notes
Reports of the incident mention the Osama Bin Zaid School (مدرسة أسامة بن زيد) in Beit Lahia (بيت لاهيا), for which the generic coordinates are: 31.538611, 34.478889. Due to limited satellite imagery and information available to Airwars, we were unable to verify the location further.
