Shortly before 9:23 AM on December 26, 2024, a woman was reportedly killed after an alleged Israeli quadcopter drone dropped an explosive device at the entrance of Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia, north of the Gaza Strip.
The Twitter/X user Jaffa News Network (@yaffa_ps) was the first to report the incident at 9:23 AM. According to multiple reports, including a post by @Tufan_Alaqssa on X, the Israeli drone attack occurred as the woman was entering the hospital. Other sources, such as PalinfoAr, Ammar Waqaf, Toulkaram, AlHadath.Palestine, and @arabic_post shared an image of four people carrying the woman’s body, which was reportedly recovered from just outside the hospital gate.
Further confirmation of the incident came from MsdrNews, Radio Alam, and Mahmoud Abu Zanada Media Platform, which reported that the attack resulted in at least one fatality. Al Jazeera correspondent also covered the event, stating that the woman was killed by Israeli drone fire.
All sources that attributed responsibility for the alleged drone strike identified Israeli forces as responsible.
