At least three people were reportedly injured around 6 p.m. on January 27th, 2025, only days after a ceasefire was announced on January 19th, when an alleged Israeli explosive remnant, left behind, detonated on Al-Rashid Street near the Netzarim junction, close to the Wadi Gaza Bridge in Gaza City.

According to sources such as Al Hadath TV, the device exploded during the return of displaced civilians to Northern Gaza. The outlet stated that “several” individuals were injured in the explosion.
However, no further details regarding the nature or severity of the injuries were available at the time of reporting.
