On 28 September 2025, two people – including a woman – were killed after an armored vehicle and/or robot – reportedly rigged with explosives – was allegedly detonated by Israeli forces in the Daghmash family square, located in the Sabra neighbourhood southwest of Gaza City.
Following the incident, @Sa7atPlBreaking reported that a body had arrived at the Baptist Hospital after the Isrseli military “detonated a booby-trapped robot in the Daghmash family square.” The Sabra neighbourhood Facebook page later confirmed the identity of the deceased male as Khalil Jihad Daghmash. Meanwhile, @F24online confirmed that a woman was also killed in the incident. As of the time of this report, her identity, however, remains unknown.
Sabra neighbourhood Gate 1 shared images of the armored vehicle involved in the incident, identifying it as belonging to Israeli forces.
Where sources identified a belligerent, all sources attributed the attack to the Israeli military.
