Four alleged militants were killed in an alleged US drone strike on a truck in Shawal, south Waziristan, a few kilometres distant from the previous strike (Ob217), local and international media reported.

The News reported that “some tribesmen felt it seemed the drones were following the double cabin pickup truck carrying some people, suspected to be militants, from somewhere near the Afghan border.”

All sources who reported about the second strike of the day, described the four killed as being militants.
