Between four to seven militants were killed, and others were wounded when drones returned to attack, for the second time in 12 hours, in the Shawal valley area, with a reported early morning strike on two vehicles near the Afghan border.

The Express Tribune said that the vehicles were en route from Miranshah. AFP reported a Pakistani security official as saying, “US drones fired four missiles on two militant vehicles in the early hours of Sunday, killing four militants.”

However, a second official told the agency that the identities of those killed was unknown. Other speculated that those killed were supporters of militant leader Hafiz Gul Bahadur.
