The US allegedly carried out two strikes in north Waziristan on March 17th, the first in Hamzoni (described in Ob78) and the second in Mizar Madakhel (detailed below). Both strikes took place in regions administered by North Waziristan Taliban leader Hafiz Gul Bahadar.

In this strike, two missiles reportedly struck a compound and a vehicle, killing between three and five alleged militants. The strike occurred shortly after the first strike in Hamzoni.

Dawn reported: “In another attack about an hour later, the drones slammed two missiles into a pick-up and a compound in Mizar Madakhel, killing five militants, two of them foreigners.”

There were no reported injured like there were no reports of civilian harm.

All reported that the incident was the work of a US drone.
