An alleged American drone killed up to four militants and wounded between one and three as missiles struck Khushali, north Waziristan, local and internatonal media reported.

Following the strike, local officials told Daily Times that “a US drone fired two missiles on the house of Hameedullah, situated in Khushali Khel village of the agency’s Mir Ali sub-division.” Between two and four alleged militants were reported killed and three injured in an attack on the reputed home of Hameedullah.

According to Express Tribune, who cited “military sources”, militant commander Hamza Mehsud was the target of the strike and he was most likely among the killed militants.

All sources said that a US drone was behind the strike.

As of now, there are no reports of civilian harm.
