Between two and three people were killed and up to two others were wounded by alleged Russian shelling of the village of Slatyne in Dergachi on April 9, 2022.
Vyacheslav Zadorenko, head of the community, posted on Facebook that “during the day, enemy artillery periodically shelled the settlements of Dergachiv community. At least two people were killed in the village of Slatyne as a result of the bombardment, and another person was taken to a hospital in Kharkiv by an ambulance with injuries. Several private houses were destroyed in Dergachi.”
A source in the Dergachi City Council told Suspilne News that on April 9th there were three dead and two wounded in Slatyne from Russian shelling.
All of the sources that reported on the incident attributed the shelling to Russian forces. 2day.kh identified “Grads”, mines, high-explosive and cruise missiles as being fired at the Dergachiv community.

The local time of the incident is unknown.

Reports of the incident mention the town of Slatyne (Слатине), for which the generic coordinates are: 50.211056, 36.155002. Due to limited satellite imagery and information available to Airwars, we were unable to verify the location further.
