A tweet from BBC News Ukraine (@BBC_ua) reported that Russian troops shelled Kharkiv for the second time in a day the evening of April 16th, resulting in the death of one person and the injury of two others, according to Kharkiv Mayor Igor Terekhov. Fakty News also quoted the mayor as saying that those injured were in the hospital receiving treatment.
Other local sources also quoted Kharkiv Mayor Igor Terekhov and provided similar details on casualties and damage. No other information is available.
