On April 26th 2022, a civilian was wounded in the city of Chuhuiv as a result of an allegedly Russian shelling.
According to multiple reports, the head of the Kharkiv Oblast Oleg Sinegubov confirmed the event as part of a number of Russian attacks in the region which resulted in at least 3 dead and 15 injured: “The enemy does not stop shelling the city of Kharkiv and populated areas of the region. Peaceful residents suffer from the blows of the occupiers.”
After the events, allegations on the use of phosphorus bombs spread on social media. The Kharkiv Defense Headquarters did not confirm such information.
