Airwars assessment
At approximately 3am on April 30, 2022, Russian troops allegedly shelled residential areas, industrial zone, and hospitals in the Nemishlyanksy district of Kharkiv. As a result, a man was injured in an apartment block in the district.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine posted on Telegram that as a result of the shelling, apartments in two nine-story residential buildings caught fire, injuring the owner of one of the apartments, and that the man was taken to the city hospital by a medical team. The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office opened a pre-trial investigation into the injury of the man, who was 61 years old at the time of the shelling.
The State Emergency Service added that the City Perinatal Center hospital of Kharkiv was damaged as a result of this shelling, which destroyed concrete structures and window frames, as well as a fire on the 5th floor.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine also identified a large-scale fire in a warehouse as breaking out from shelling in the Nemishlyanksy district, which according to preliminary data did not result in any deaths or injuries.

Reports of the incident mention the Nemyshlyansky district (Немишлянський район) of the city of Kharkiv (Харків), for which the generic coordinates are: 49.96892, 36.3506. Due to limited satellite imagery and information available to Airwars, we were unable to verify the location further.
