Two Al Qaeda militants were killed and others were wounded in alleged US drone strikes on a vehicle in Al Mudhur of Qatn district on December 14, 2013. There were no reports of civilian harm.

Gulf News quoted a local government official who reported that a US drone struck a car carrying Al Qaeda members who were engaged in a gunfight with the Yemeni army in Al Mudhur of Qatn district without providing casualty details.

Twitter sources @BaFana3 and @yemenat reported that two people were killed in the strikes on an Al Qaeda vehicle, and @SUHFNET tweeted that Saudi Mishaal Al-Shadoukhi, the official negotiator for Al Qaeda, was killed in the drone strike. Al-Mayadeen TV, quoted by Hauilah Today, stated that “several people were killed and wounded” without providing an exact casualty toll.
