Airwars assessment

A number of injuries resulted from an alleged US airstrike on Al-Rasoul Al-Aazam Hospital for Cancer Tumors in Saada city, Yemen on March 24, 2025.

The al-Jomhory General Hospital Authority of Sanaa posted a video of a young man being treated in a medical facility, with the caption reporting that the man was being treated at al-Jomhory Hospital after being wounded by an American raid on the “Al-Rasoul Al-Aazam Hospital for Cancer Tumors” in Saada city, a building which was still under construction. A Facebook post from Majd Al-Madani Saada identified “injured” as resulting from the strike, along with additional images of the man being treated in the medical facility, while a post by Harkt al-Arshad mentioned “a number of civilians” as being seriously injured.

A tweet from @a__hamoudi reported “a large number of deaths and injuries” from the strikes on Al-Rasoul Al-Aazam Hospital, but as this was not corroborated by other sources and as there were no images/videos in the sources that appeared to correspond to this incident, Airwars has quantified the injury toll as 2-2 .

Harkt al-Arshad posted images that reportedly show the damage caused by the airstrikes to the hospital. Damage can be seen in one corner of the building, and multiple walls seem to have been torn out by the strikes. Rubble of cement and other building materials surrounds the outside of the hospital as well.

According to Hamdan Al-Bahm, nine airstrikes hit Saada Governorate, including the ones which hit Al-Rasoul Al-Aazam Hospital.

Images and videos posted by source @a__hamoudi have not been archived within this incident as it has been identified as relating to different events in Yemen from previous airstrikes.

The local time of the incident is unknown.
