Unidentified warplanes once again targeted a former military base outside Mukalla, in southeastern Hadramout. Four or five strikes in all were launched, Reuters reported. The US military said it was not responsible and the CIA had not commented by the time this data entry was added to the timeline.

An unnamed Yemeni official said the strikes were conducted by the Saudi-led coalition however another Yemeni official cautioned that it was not clear who had carried out the attacks.
