Five members of the same family, including two children, were killed in an Israeli airstrike on a house in the town of Mefdoun in southern Lebanon on Saturday evening. Meanwhile, Al-Araby TV correspondent Jana Al-Dahibi reported that Israeli warplanes carried out an airstrike on Beirut’s southern suburbs, followed ten minutes later by a second airstrike. She added that initial reports indicated the second strike targeted a building in the Bir al-Abed area. For its part, the government’s Disaster Risk Management Unit said in its daily report that the total number of displaced people in Lebanon has reached 831,882, including 132,419 registered in shelters. The unit indicated that the total number of displaced families in shelters reached 33,902, while the number of shelters opened across Lebanon reached 619. It reported 1,928 Israeli attacks since the escalation of the offensive on March 3. For its part, Hezbollah said it was engaged in "direct" clashes with the Israeli army in the town of Khiam, near the border in southern Lebanon, where incursions have been ongoing since the war began more than ten days ago. In a statement, the party reported "direct clashes with the Israeli enemy army forces in the city of Khiam using light and medium weapons and rocket-propelled grenades, and the clashes are still continuing." In another statement, Hezbollah said it targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers in Khallat al-Mahafir in the town of Adaysseh in southern Lebanon with a rocket barrage. A young man from the Souli family, his brother, his wife, and their two children were martyred. The agency added that Civil Defense teams, ambulance crews from the Student House and Nabatieh Ambulance, the Islamic Scout Association, the Red Cross, and the Islamic Health Authority worked to transport the bodies to Sheikh Ragheb Harb and Nabih Berri Governmental Hospitals in Nabatieh. In the same context, the agency reported that enemy warplanes launched a heavy airstrike on Haret Hreik in the southern suburbs of Beirut. Israeli warplanes also launched a second airstrike last night on Beirut's southern suburbs. The Israeli enemy has escalated its criminal aggression against Lebanon, targeting Lebanese towns, villages, and cities, intensifying its raids in conjunction with the aggression waged by the US and the Zionist entity against Iran.

استشهاد أربعة مواطنين من بلدة ميفدون وغارات على العاصمة اللبنانية بيروت الثورة نت/.. أستشهد أربعة مواطنين ، مساء اليوم السبت ،في غارة للعدو الصهيوني على بلدة ميفدون جنوب لبنان وأفادت الوكالة الوطنية للاعلام اللبنانية، بأن العدو الاسرائيلي ارتكب، مساء اليوم مجزرة في بلدة ميفدون استشهد خلالها 4 مواطنين من آل صولي من بلدة الطيبة، عندما شنت الطائرات الحربية المعادية غارة على منزل كانوا يسكنون فيه، بعدما غادروا بلدتهم الطيبة الى ميفدون، حيث استشهد شاب من ال صولي وشقيقه وزوجته وولديهما. وأضافت أن فرق الدفاع المدني وفرق الاسعاف من بيت الطلبة واسعاف النبطية وكشافة الرسالة الاسلامية والصليب الاحمر والهيئة الصحية الاسلامية عملت على نقل الجثامين الى مستشفيي الشيخ راغب حرب ونبيه بري الحكومي في النبطية. وفي السياق ذاته، أفادت الوكالة بأن طيران العدو الحربي شن غارة عنيفة على حارة حريك في الضاحية الجنوبية لبيروت. كما أغار الطيران الحربي الإسرائيلي للمرة الثانية الليلة على الضاحية الجنوبية لبيروت. وصعّد العدو الإسرائيلي، عدوانه الإجرامي على لبنان مستهدفاً البلدات والقرى والمدن اللبنانية، حيث كثّف غاراته، بالتزامن مع العدوان الذي تشنّه أمريكا والكيان الصهيوني على إيران.

I studied the picture, then ignored it. I searched several websites. No news of him. I went back to our previous conversations, and the pictures reappeared. Ibrahim Souli was a martyr. I've been trying for days to write about him, but writing about death is never enough. I taught Ibrahim at the institute for two years. He was wounded and paralyzed at the time. Confident. He was naturally charming and intelligent, knowing how to win people over. He spent his years of suffering between the hospital and life. His injury, despite the hardship, didn't stop him from trying to keep going. He would be gone for days. He would disappear from our sight. He would go from one relapse to another. And the blood in his veins would fail him, and he would succumb to the cold. He would remain intelligent, he would remain charming. He would outwit life and carry on. Ibrahim was the dearest to my heart among all those around him. I accompanied him in preparing for his graduation film. We talked about cinema, and even more so about life. We differed on politics. We were united by our values. He never hid from me the times he felt he had lost his will, that he might not accomplish anything. It's alright, we both knew that nothing in life is truly worthwhile, except what pleases us. "I know, I'm talking to you to draw strength out of it," he once wrote to me. You gave us the most precious gift one can offer: a fighter, then a wounded man, then a fighter, then a martyr. We are forever indebted to this generosity, Ibrahim. Israel killed Ibrahim, his wife, his child, and his brother in an airstrike on Mefdon three days ago.

تمعَّنت في الصُّورة ثم تجاهلتُها. بحثت في عدَّة مواقع. لا خبر عنه. عدتُ إلى المحادثات السَّابقة، فالصور مجدَّدًا. إبراهيم صولي شهيدًا. أحاول منذ أيّام أن أكتب عنه، والكتابة في الموت لا تفي. درَّست إبراهيم في المعهد لمدَّة سنتين، وكان وقتئذٍ جريحًا، مُقعَدًا. واثقًا. كان ظريفًا وذكيًّا، بالفطرة، يعرف كيف يَسلكُ طريقًا إلى قلبِ الآخرين. قضى سنوات جراحه بين المستشفى والحياة. لم تمنعهُ إصابتُه، رغم المشقَّة، من محاولاته في الاستمرار. سيغيب لأيام. سيختفي عن السَّمع. سينتقل من انتكاسةٍ إلى أخرى. وسيخذله الدَّم في عروقه، فيغلبُه البرد. سيبقى ذكيًّا، سيبقى ظريفًا. سيتحايل على الحياة ويُكمِل. كان إبراهيم الأحبّ إلى قلبي من بين من حوله. رافقتُه في التَّحضير لفيلم تخرّجه. تحدَّثنا عن السِّينما، وعن الحياة أكثر. اختلفنا في السِّياسة. تلاقينا في القيم. لم يكن يخفي عني أبدًا كلَّ مرَّة شعر بها بأنَّه فقدَ إرادته، وبأنّه قد لا يُنجز. معلش، كلانا يدرك أن ما من شيء في الحياة يستحق. إلا بما يحلو له. "بعرف، بحكيك لحتّى آخد طاقة"، كتب لي ذات مرَّة. أنت أعطيتنا أثمن ما يمكن للمرء أن يقدّمه. مجاهدًا فجريح، ثم مجاهدًا فشهيد. مدينون أبدًا لهذا الكرم يا إبراهيم. إسرائيل قتلت إبراهيم وزوجته وطفله وأخاه في غارة على ميفدون منذ ثلاثة أيام.
