Martyr Hassan Mustafa Abu Hamada, "Abu Akram" Born in Jabalia refugee camp, he lived seventy years, a life too long to be captured in words. He worked as a muezzin, and after his retirement, during the war, to ensure the call to prayer would never cease, he began reciting it at the Haifa Mosque. He was preparing for his son's wedding during the first week of the war, but the joyous preparations turned into a long battle to secure water and food! His daughter, Inas, wrote in her message to the #Gaza_Martyrs platform: "Every prayer time, we begged him not to go to the mosque because of the dangerous situation, but he absolutely refused. When the soldiers approached the hospital and surrounded it, he refused to let us leave the house, telling us, 'I'd rather die a thousand deaths than leave my home. Whoever leaves their home diminishes their worth.' The next day, he went out to recite the dawn prayer, and after the prayer, warplanes unleashed their fire on the residential area, bombing the mosque and everyone inside. My father was martyred along with his companion in this world, the mosque's imam, Abu Hassan al-Muqayyad, after they had performed the dawn prayer." At his burial, the occupation forces targeted my brothers in the cemetery. Several days later, with the ceasefire in place, they were able to return and find his body intact, and they gave him a proper burial. My kind, gentle, and patient father, I rejoice when people talk about how similar our features and personalities are. There are exactly 17 years between the dates of my father's and my brother Mahmoud's martyrdom! He was martyred on November 19, 2023.

الشهيد حسن مصطفى أبو حمادة، "أبو أكرم" من مواليد مخيم جباليا، عاش سبعين عاما لا توجزها الكلمات، عمل مؤذنًا وبعد تقاعده، وخلال الحرب، حتى لا ينقطع الأذان أصبح يرفعه في مسجد حيفا، كان يستعد لتزويج ابنه في الأسبوع الاول من الحرب.. لكن تحوّلت استعدادات الفرح إلى معركة طويلة لتوفير الماء والطعام! تقول ابنته إيناس في رسالتها لمنصة #شهداء_غزة: كنا كل صلاة نرجوه ألا يذهب للمسجد لخطورة الوضع ويرفض رفضا قاطعا وعندما اقترب الجنود من مستشفى وحاصروه رفض خروجنا من البيت، وأخبرنا "بموت ألف موتة ولا بطلع من داري.. الي بطلع من داره بنقل مقداره"، وفي اليوم التالي خرج ليرفع أذان الفجر وبعد الصلاة أنزلت الطائرات حممها بأحزمة نارية على المربع السكني وقصف المسجد على من فيه واستشهد أبي مع رفيقه بالدنيا إمام المسجد أبو حسن المقيد، بعد أن أديا صلاة الفجر. Uند دفنه قامت قوات الاحتلال باستهداف اخوتي في المقبرة، بعد عدة ايام ومع الهدنة استطاعوا الرجوع ليجدوا جثمانه كما هو واكرموه بالدفن. أبي الطيب الحنون الصابر أفرح حين يتحدثون عن تشابه ملامحنا وطباعنا. بين تاريخ استشهاد أبي وأخي محمود 17 عامًا بالتمام ! استشهد يوم 19 نوفمبر 2023.
