To God we belong and to Him we shall return. O God, reward us for our loss and replace it with something better. May God have mercy on you, Hajja, and accept you among the martyrs. My uncle's wife, Hajja Najia Muhammad Al-Barim (Umm Muhammad), is a martyr, God willing. O God, forgive her, have mercy on her, grant her health and pardon her, honor her resting place, widen her grave, and cleanse her with water, snow, and hail. Purify her from sins as a white garment is purified from dirt. O God, grant her a home better than her home and a family better than her family. O God, admit her to Paradise and protect her from the torment of the grave and the torment of Hellfire.

And never think that those who have been killed in the cause of Allah are dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision, rejoicing in what Allah has bestowed upon them of His bounty, and they receive good tidings about those [to be martyred] after them who have not yet joined them - that there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve. (Quran 3:169-160) May Allah, the Most High, grant Paradise to my beloved mother, Najia Al-Brim, and give us patience in our grief over your loss.
