Life News – Two workers at the Mina Al-Ahmadi refinery in Kuwait were injured by falling debris early Monday morning, according to Ghanem Al-Otaibi, spokesperson for the Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) and the Kuwait Integrated Petroleum Industries Company (KIPIC).

Al-Otaibi explained that the incident was handled according to established safety and security procedures. The injured workers were transferred to Al-Adan Hospital to receive necessary medical care. He confirmed that both are currently in stable condition and are under medical observation.

Al-Otaibi emphasized that the refinery's operational and production processes were unaffected and experienced no disruptions. Emergency teams immediately responded to the incident, activating the rapid response plan and taking all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of workers and facilities, which sustained no material damage.

He clarified that the Mina Al-Ahmadi refinery is operating at full capacity, with the utmost priority given to the safety of its personnel at all sites.

Explosions and sirens were heard in Kuwait on Monday, for the third consecutive day, following Iran's retaliatory strikes against Gulf states in response to US and Israeli attacks on Iran.

The Director General of the Civil Defense Department at the Ministry of Interior, Mohammed Al-Mansouri, confirmed that most of the drones approaching Kuwait via the sea near the Rumaithiya and Salwa areas were intercepted, and no injuries were reported.

Al-Mansouri emphasized that the Kuwaiti Air Defense Forces efficiently and effectively intercepted a number of hostile aerial targets early this morning.

He affirmed that the situation in Kuwait is stable and there is no cause for concern, and that the relevant authorities are monitoring developments around the clock within a comprehensive operational framework.

He noted that the Civil Defense Department received several reports of explosions heard in some areas, explaining that these sounds resulted from the interception operations that took place in the air.

He confirmed that the Kuwaiti Air Force is conducting continuous monitoring and tracking of aerial targets before they enter Kuwaiti airspace.

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced on Sunday that one person was killed and 32 others were injured in Iranian attacks on the country.

The Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) quoted the Ministry of Health as saying that “one death was announced and 32 injured people, all of foreign nationalities, were received through the emergency department at Al-Adan Hospital due to the current developments in the region.”

وأوضح العتيبي أنه تم التعامل مع الحادث وفق إجراءات الأمن والسلامة المعتمدة حيث جرى نقل المصابين إلى مستشفى العدان لتلقي الرعاية الطبية اللازمة، مؤكدا أن الحالتين مستقرتان حاليا وتخضعان للمتابعة الطبية.

وأكد العتيبي أن العمليات التشغيلية والإنتاجية في المصفاة لم تتأثر ولم تشهد أي تعطل حيث باشرت فرق الطوارئ مهامها فور وقوع الحادث وفعلت خطة الاستجابة السريعة مع اتخاذ كافة الإجراءات الاحترازية لضمان سالمة العاملين والمنشآت التي لم تسجل أي أضرار مادية.

وأوضح أن مصفاة ميناء الأحمدي تعمل بكامل طاقتها المعتادة مع إيلاء الأولوية القصوى لسالمة كوادرها في جميع المواقع.

وسُمع دوي انفجارات وصفارات إنذار في الكويت، الاثنين، لليوم الثالث على التوالي، بعد أن شنّت إيران ضربات على دول الخليج ردا على الهجمات الأميركية والإسرائيلية على إيران.

وأكد مدير الإدارة العامة للدفاع المدني بوزارة الداخلية محمد المنصوري، أنه جرى التصدي لمعظم الطائرات المسيّرة القادمة باتجاه الكويت عبر البحر قرب منطقتي الرميثية وسلوى ولم تسجل أي إصابات.

وشدد المنصوري على أن سلاح الدفاع الجوي الكويتي تصدى فجر اليوم لعدد من الأهداف الجوية المعادية بكفاءة واقتدار.

وأكد أن الأوضاع في الكويت مستقرة ولا داعي للقلق وأن الأجهزة المعنية تتابع المستجدات على مدار الساعة ضمن منظومة عمل متكاملة.

ولفت إلى أن الإدارة العامة للدفاع المدني تلقت عددا من البلاغات بشأن سماع دوي انفجارات في بعض المناطق، مبينا أن تلك الأصوات ناتجة عن عمليات التصدي التي جرت في الأجواء.

وأكد أن سلاح الجو الكويتي يقوم بعمليات رصد ومتابعة مستمرة للأهداف الجوية قبل دخولها أجواء الكويت.

وكانت وزارة الصحة الكويتية، أعلنت الأحد، عن سقوط قتيل و32 مصابا بهجمات إيرانية على البلاد.

وذكرت وكالة الأنباء الكويتية “كونا” نقلا عن وزارة الصحة قولها إنه تم “الإعلان عن وفاة واحدة واستقبال 32 مصابا جميعهم من جنسيات أجنبية عبر قسم الطوارئ في مستشفى العدان على خلفية التطورات الراهنة في المنطقة”.
