Israeli warplanes and tanks launched widespread bombardments across the Gaza Strip yesterday, as the military operation in Rafah Governorate escalated, now in its 85th consecutive day. The attacks are concentrated in the central and western parts of the governorate, accompanied by widespread destruction and the demolition of residential blocks.

Israeli warplanes directly targeted a group of journalists in a vehicle clearly marked with press insignia, west of Gaza City, as they were covering the ongoing events. This resulted in the deaths of journalists Ismail Al-Ghoul and his colleague, photographer Rami Al-Rifi, as well as a child bystander, and injuries to several others.

With the deaths of Al-Rifi and Al-Ghoul, the number of journalists killed since the start of the aggression against the Gaza Strip has risen to 165.

Yesterday alone, 60 Palestinians were killed and more than 100 were wounded as a result of the ongoing bombardment and airstrikes on the Strip. The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced yesterday the updated daily toll of victims of the Israeli aggression, explaining that the Israeli occupation committed several massacres against families in the Gaza Strip. Of these, 45 martyrs and 77 wounded were admitted to hospitals in the past 24 hours (up to yesterday morning).

The total number of martyrs from the Israeli aggression has risen to 39,445, with 91,073 wounded since October 7th.

Martyrs and Airstrikes

Rescue teams continued searching for the bodies of martyrs in the heart of the areas that witnessed military operations east of Khan Younis. More than 10 new bodies were recovered, amid expectations that more bodies will be found under the rubble of destroyed homes.

Shadi Abu Saalik was martyred, and others were wounded, as a result of the bombing of a house in the Abasan al-Jadida area, east of Khan Younis.

Rescue teams also recovered the bodies of two martyrs from the Abu Hamid family, killed in a bombing that targeted them near Kfar Moraj, north of Rafah, two days ago.

Three Palestinians were killed and others wounded when Israeli warplanes targeted two groups of civilians in separate incidents in the Tel al-Sultan neighborhood west of Rafah.

One Palestinian was killed and eight others wounded in an airstrike that targeted the home of Dr. Mu'in Za'arab in the Mawasi area of Rafah.

Regarding developments in the Rafah Governorate, there was a limited withdrawal of tanks from northern Rafah towards the Shaboura and Yebna refugee camps and the Salah al-Din axis yesterday. However, Israeli forces remain stationed in large areas in the central and western parts of the governorate and continue to impose an aerial siege on all areas of Rafah. This siege is carried out by dozens of armed drones equipped with missiles and machine guns, which fire at any moving target within the city.

Israeli forces committed another massacre in the central Gaza Strip, killing 11 Palestinians and wounding approximately 12 others in a direct hit on a civilian vehicle traveling on a crowded street in the town of al-Zawayda. Among the martyrs of the Al-Zawaida massacre were: Hazem Abu Bteihan, Abdul Rahman Al-Hasanat, Amir Darwish, Ahmed Bakheet, Firas Bakheet, Suleiman Abu Qershein, Abdul Rahman Abdul Raouf Ayesh, and Muhammad Al-Aryan.

The death of Suha Islim, a young woman, was announced. She succumbed to her wounds sustained several days earlier when the home of the Gharab family in the Nuseirat refugee camp was bombed.

A Palestinian man was killed by artillery shelling that targeted the northern part of the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Several Palestinians were wounded when Israeli warplanes targeted the home of the Salmi family in the Zeitoun neighborhood, near the Badr Mosque, south of Gaza City.

Regarding the killing of journalists Al-Ghoul and Al-Rifi, eyewitnesses confirmed that they had finished covering a sit-in protesting the assassination of Hamas political bureau chief Ismail Haniyeh. They were driving in their vehicle when it was targeted, and they were killed. Yesterday, some areas in the Rafah Governorate witnessed sporadic armed clashes, especially in the town of Al-Shouka, accompanied by the sound of gunfire and explosions, in addition to continuous artillery shelling, as well as sporadic armed clashes that broke out in some areas south of Gaza City, and near the “Netzarim” street in the center of the Strip.

شنت طائرات الاحتلال ودباباته عمليات قصف واسعة على مختلف مناطق قطاع غزة، أمس، مع تصاعد العملية العسكرية في محافظة رفح، والمستمرة لليوم 85 على التوالي، إذ باتت تتركز في مناطق وسط وغرب المحافظة، مصحوبة بعمليات تدمير واسعة، ونسف مربعات سكنية.
واستهدفت طائرات الاحتلال مجموعة من الصحافيين بشكل مباشر، خلال تواجدهم في مركبة تحمل شارات الصحافة، غرب مدينة غزة، أثناء قيامهم بتغطية الأحداث الجارية، ما أسفر عن استشهاد الصحافييْن إسماعيل الغول، وزميله المصور رامي الريفي، وطفل من المارة، وإصابة عدد آخر بجروح.
وباستشهاد الريفي والغول، يرتفع عدد الشهداء الصحافيين منذ بدء العدوان على قطاع غزة، إلى 165 شهيدا.
وسقط يوم أمس، 60 شهيدا، وما يزيد على 100 مصاب، جراء القصف والغارات المتواصلة على القطاع.
وأعلنت وزارة الصحة في قطاع غزة الحصيلة اليومية المُحدثة لضحايا العدوان الإسرائيلي، أمس، موضحة أن الاحتلال الإسرائيلي ارتكب عدة مجازر ضد العائلات في قطاع غزة، وصل منها للمستشفيات 45 شهيداً، و77 إصابة خلال الـ 24 ساعة الماضية "حتى ساعات صباح أمس".
فيما ارتفعت حصيلة العدوان الإسرائيلي إلى 39445 شهيداً و91073 إصابة منذ السابع من شهر تشرين الأول الماضي.



شهداء وغارات

واصلت فرق الإنقاذ البحث عن جثامين شهداء في قلب المناطق التي شهدت عمليات عسكرية شرق خان يونس، إذ جرى انتشال أكثر من 10 جثامين جديدة، وسط توقعات بوجود المزيد من الجثامين تحت أنقاض المنازل المدمرة.
واستشهد المواطن شادي أبو صعاليك، وأصيب آخرون، جراء قصف منزل في منطقة عبسان الجديدة شرق محافظة خان يونس.
كما انتشلت فرق الإنقاذ جثماني شهيدين من عائلة أبو حميد، جراء قصف استهدفهما قرب "كف موراج"، شمال محافظة رفح، قبل يومين.
واستشهد 3 مواطنين، وجرح آخرون، جراء استهداف طائرات الاحتلال مجموعتين من المواطنين، في حادثتين منفصلتين، في حي تل السلطان غرب مدينة رفح.
كما سقط شهيد واحد، وأصيب 8 آخرون جراء غارة جوية استهدفت منزل الدكتور معين زعرب، في منطقة مواصي رفح.
وفيما يخص تطورات الأوضاع في محافظة رفح، حدث، أمس، تراجع محدود للدبابات من مناطق شمال رفح، باتجاه مخيمي الشابورة ويبنا، ومحور صلاح الدين، غير أن قوات الاحتلال ما زالت تتمركز في مناطق واسعة وسط وغرب المحافظة، وتواصل حالة "الإطباق الجوي"، على جميع مناطق رفح، من خلال استمرار تحليق عشرات الطائرات المُسيرة، المزودة بالصواريخ، والرشاشات، وتطلق النار تجاه كل هدف متحرك داخل المدينة.
وارتكبت قوات الاحتلال مجزرة جديدة وسط القطاع، إذ سقط 11 شهيدا ونحو 12 مصاباً، جراء قصف مباشر لمركبة مدنية مأهولة، كانت تسير وسط شارع مكتظ في بلدة الزوايدة وسط القطاع.
وعُرف من شهداء مجزرة الزوايدة: حازم أبو بطيحان، عبد الرحمن الحسنات، أمير درويش، أحمد بخيت، فراس بخيت، سليمان أبو قرشين، عبد الرحمن عبد الرؤوف عايش، محمد العريان.
وأُعلن عن استشهاد الفتاة سها إسليم، متأثرة بجروحها، جراء قصف منزل لعائلة "غراب"، في مخيم النصيرات قبل عدة أيام.
واستشهد مواطن جراء قصف مدفعي استهدف شمال مخيم النصيرات وسط القطاع.
وأصيب عدد من المواطنين بجروح، إثر استهداف طائرات الاحتلال منزل عائلة "سلمي"، بمنطقة حي الزيتون بجوار مسجد بدر جنوب مدينة غزة.
وفيما يخص حادثة استشهاد الصحافييْن الغول والريفي، اكد شهود عيان أنهما انتهيا من تغطية اعتصام مندد باغتيال رئيس المكتب السياسي لحركة حماس إسماعيل هنية، واستقلا مركبتهما، وخلال السير في أحد شوارع غزة، جرى استهداف المركبة، واغتيالهما.
وخلال يوم أمس، شهدت بعض المناطق في محافظة رفح، مواجهات مسلحة متفرقة، خاصة في بلدة الشوكة، رافقها سماع دوي إطلاق نار، وانفجارات، إضافة لقصف مدفعي متواصل، إضافة لمواجهات مسلحة متفرقة اندلعت في بعض المحاور جنوب مدينة غزة، وقرب شارع "نتساريم" وسط القطاع.
