Major General Amir Hatami, Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Army, offered condolences for the martyrdom of Lieutenant General Seyyed Abdolrahim Mousavi, Lieutenant General Mohammad Pakpour, Admiral Ali Shamkhani, Lieutenant General Aziz Nasirzadeh, and a number of commanders, officials, and dear people.

The text of the message is as follows:
The martyrdom of Commanders Rashid Islam, Commander General Seyyed Abdul Rahim Mousavi, Commander General Mohammad Pakpour, Admiral Ali Shamkhani, and Commander Major General Aziz Nasirzadeh, who devoted their blessed lives to defending the Islamic Republic and the Islamic Revolution, and the martyrdom of a group of officials and innocent oppressed compatriots, moved me and all the warriors of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army.

امیر سرلشکر «امیر حاتمی» فرمانده کل ارتش جمهوری اسلامی ایران، شهادت امیر سپهبد سید عبدالرحیم موسوی، سردار سپهبد محمد پاکپور، امیر دریاسالار علی شمخانی، امیر سرلشکر عزیز نصیرزاده و تعدادی از فرماندهان و مسئولان و مردم عزیز را تسلیت گفت.

شهادت فرماندهان رشید اسلام، امیر سپهبد سید عبدالرحیم موسوی، سردار سپهبد محمد پاکپور، دریاسالار علی شمخانی و امیر سرلشکر عزیز نصیرزاده که عمر پربرکت خود را صرف دفاع از کیان و انقلاب اسلامی کردند و شهادت جمعی از مسئولان و هم وطنان مظلوم و بی‌گناه، موجب تأثر اینجانب و آحاد رزمندگان ارتش جمهوری اسلامی ایران شد.
