Honoring a devoted physician at Tehran Municipality’s District 12 clinic: the story of a woman who did not stop treating the wounded at the height of the bombardment
The headquarters building of Shahr-e Salem Company, on Monday, 31 Farvardin, hosted a ceremony in which the company’s CEO, Seyed Abolfazl Zakerian, honored Dr. Bentolhoda Mohammadshirazi, the devoted physician of the District 12 clinic, for her remarkable selflessness during the difficult days of the imposed war. A doctor who, as the wounded arrived one after another at the clinic, not only did not stop, but stood firm with all her strength until the very last moment.
According to the Public Relations Office of Shahr-e Salem Company, the days of the Ramadan war were anything but ordinary for the District 12 clinic. The bombardment of surrounding areas had sent large numbers of wounded people to the clinic. The pain that cried out, the flowing blood, and the eyes pleading for help formed a scene that would have overwhelmed anyone. Yet Dr. Bentolhoda Mohammadshirazi and her colleagues—this young, unassuming doctor—stood calm and steadfast in the heart of this storm.
On that day, Dr. Mohammadshirazi treated nearly 80 wounded individuals—eighty human beings, each carrying a story of pain and suffering. Without allowing herself even a moment of fatigue, she placed her hands on wounds, brought comfort, and provided care. She paid no attention to the clock, nor to her assigned shift.
But what sets this physician apart is not only the number of patients she treated, but her spirit and composure. In those tense days, when the pressure of work exceeded all limits, she met each injured person with patience and a smile, treating them as someone dear. One of the nurses present recalls: “Even though her shift had ended, she stayed. She said, ‘I won’t leave until I see that the last wounded person is alright.’”

ساختمان ستادی شرکت شهر سالم، روز دوشنبه ۳۱ فروردین ماه شاهد مراسمی بود که در آن سید ابوالفضل ذاکریان، مدیرعامل شرکت، از دکتر بنت‌الهدی محمدشیرازی، پزشک فداکار درمانگاه منطقه ۱۲، به خاطر از خودگذشتگی‌های بی‌نظیرش در روزهای سخت جنگ تحمیلی تقدیر کرد. پزشکی که وقتی مجروحان یکی پس از دیگری به درمانگاه می‌رسیدند، نه تنها از پای ننشست، بلکه با تمام وجود، تا آخرین لحظه ایستاد.
به گزارش روابط عمومی شرکت شهر سالم، روزهای جنگ رمضان برای درمانگاه منطقه ۱۲ شرکت شهر سالم، روزهای عادی نبود. بمباران مناطق اطراف، مجروحان زیادی را روانه این درمانگاه کرده بود. دردی که فریاد می‌زد، خونی که جاری بود، و چشمانی که التماس کمک داشتند، صحنه‌ای بود که هر کسی را از پای درمی‌آورد. اما دکتر بنت‌الهدی محمدشیرازی و همکارانش، این پزشک جوان و بی‌ادعا، در دل این طوفان، آرام و استوار ایستاد.
آن روز، دکتر محمدشیرازی نزدیک به ۸۰ مجروح را درمان کرد. هشتاد انسان که هر کدام قصه‌ای از درد و رنج داشتند. او بدون اینکه لحظه‌ای خستگی به خود راه دهد، دست بر زخم می‌گذاشت، آرامش می‌بخشید و مداوا می‌کرد. نه نگاه به ساعت داشت و نه به شیفت کاری.
اما آنچه این پزشک را از بسیاری متمایز می‌کند، نه فقط تعداد مجروحانی که درمان کرد، که روحیه و سعه صدر او بود. در آن روزهای پرالتهاب، وقتی فشار کار از حد می‌گذشت، ایشان با لبخند و حوصله، با هر مجروح مانند یک انسان عزیز رفتار می‌کرد. یکی از پرستاران حاضر در آن روزها روایت می‌کند: «با وجودی که ساعت شیفتش تمام شده بود، باز هم ماند. گفت تا آخرین مجروح نبینم حالش خوب شده، نمی‌روم.»
