Ghassan al-Dahini (غسان الدهيني) is a senior member of the Popular Forces — a Gazan armed group and criminal gang created by Yasser Abu Shabab with Israeli support. He took over leadership of the group after Abu Shabab was killed in December 2025.
Before joining the Popular Forces, al-Dahini was allegedly a member of Jaysh al-Islam — a Salafi-jihadi group based in Gaza with ties to the Islamic State group.
Al-Dahini is from the same Tarabin tribe as Abu Shabab.
