In the coming days, the municipality building will be closed. However, the municipality will maintain full functional continuity, within the framework of the defense policy established by the Home Front Command, and will continue to provide services to all residents of the city, including waste removal and other essential services. Starting tomorrow, and in order to enable the best and safest response to residents, the Collection Division will relocate its activities to the 106 municipal hotline until further notice. Enquiries to the Education Department can be made through Hotline 106, the other departments and departments will operate as usual. Since the attack this morning on a residential building in the city, Tirat Carmel Municipality teams have been accompanying the residents, while ensuring their safety and security.

Due to the damage and injuries caused, and in accordance with the determination of an engineer and a constructor, it was decided to immediately evacuate six apartments, whose residents were offered evacuation to alternative housing or a hotel.

The remaining residents of the other apartments in the building can return to their homes now.

Tirat Carmel Municipality teams are treating the scene of the fall in the city. The teams, led by Mayor Dudu Cohen, who arrived at the affected area shortly after the fall, include, among others, structural engineers, who are assessing the severity of the damage and the degree of danger present in it; Operations Administration employees who arrived first at the scene, are working on site, assisting with blocking and fencing the damaged area and preparing to treat the public space. They also scanned the scene and began cleaning the public space. Security guards were stationed at the scene to protect private property and prevent theft and looting.

In addition, social workers from the Welfare and Social Services Department arrived at the scene, who began providing immediate assistance to those affected by the panic. In addition, municipality representatives are assisting residents with property tax referrals in order to receive compensation for damaged property, and a notice on the subject was sent to the building committee for all neighbors.

The Tirat Carmel municipality has opened an assistance center for residents at Nof Yam School. Residents whose homes were damaged, or who need any assistance, are invited to contact the center, which is staffed by social workers, psychologists from the Tirat Carmel Municipality, and other workers.

Hegel Street is blocked to traffic in both directions.

מאז הפגיעה הבוקר בבניין מגורים בעיר, צוותי עיריית טירת כרמל מלווים את הדיירים תוך דאגה לשלומם וביטחונם.



בשל הפגיעה והנזק שנגרם, ובהתאם לקביעת מהנדס וקונסטרוקטור, הוחלט על פינוי מידי של שש דירות, שלדייריהן הוצע פינוי לדיור חלופי או לבית מלון.



שאר הדיירים בדירות האחרות בבניין יכולים לשוב לבתיהם כבר כעת.

צוותים של עיריית טירת כרמל מטפלים בזירת הנפילה בעיר. הצוותים, בראשות ראש העיר, דודו כהן, שהגיע לאיזור הפגיעה זמן קצר לאחר הנפילה, כוללים בין השאר מהנדסי בניין, שאומדים את חומרת הנזקים ואת מידת הסכנה הקיימת בהם; עובדי מינהל התפעול שהגיעו ראשונים לזירה, פועלים במקום, מסייעים בחסימות וגידור השטח שנפגע ונערכים לטיפול במרחב הציבורי. כמו כן, סרקו את הזירה והחלו בפעולות ניקוי המרחב הציבורי. בזירה הוצבו מאבטחים אשר שומרים על הרכוש הפרטי ומונעים גניבות וביזה.







בנוסף הגיעו למקום עובדים סוציאליים של אגף הרווחה והשירותים החברתיים, שהחלו במתן סיוע מידי לנפגעי חרדה. כמו כן, נציגי העירייה מסייעים לתושבים בהכוונה למס רכוש לצורך קבלת פיצוי על רכוש שנפגע, והודעה בנושא נשלחה לוועד הבניין עבור כלל השכנים.



עיריית טירת כרמל פתחה מרכז סיוע לתושבים בבית ספר נוף ים. תושבים שבתיהם ניזוקו, או נזקקים לכל עזרה מוזמנים לפנות למרכז, המאוייש בעובדים סוציאליים, פסיכולוגים של עיריית טירת כרמל, ועובדים נוספים.



רחוב הגל נחסם לתנועה בשני הכיוונים.
