Al-Qudra said that the occupation targeted the main reception and emergency area at Al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza City. "Until now, medical teams at the hospital are trying to determine the condition of the victims and the extent of their injuries."

A video circulating on social media, verified by Reuters on Friday, showed a number of dead and wounded, including children, in an area of the Al-Shifa Hospital complex in Gaza after it was hit by Israeli airstrikes. A Sky News correspondent said the bombing targeted "the fifth floor of the hospital's maternity ward."
