Egyptian engineer Hossam Sadek was killed when fragments of Iranian missiles fell on the Habshan gas facilities in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

The Abu Dhabi Media Office in the UAE reported today, Friday, that, as part of the ongoing monitoring of the incident previously announced at the Habshan gas facilities, which resulted from fragments falling due to a successful interception by air defenses, two fires broke out at the site.
It explained that emergency response teams immediately and efficiently dealt with the incident and were able to control the situation.
An Egyptian national died as a result of Iranian missile strikes.
The statement indicated that the incident resulted in the death of an Egyptian national during the evacuation of the site, in addition to minor injuries to four others, two Pakistani nationals and two Egyptians.
It also noted significant damage to the facilities, while relevant authorities continue their assessment to determine the extent of the losses and the full extent of the damage.
In a separate development, the Kuwaiti Environment Public Authority and the Kuwait National Petroleum Company confirmed that readings from environmental monitoring systems and air quality monitoring stations at the Mina Al-Ahmadi refinery did not register any abnormal levels following fires that broke out in several refinery units as a result of drone attacks early this morning.

وكتب محمد حسام ابن عم المهندس الشهيد على صفحته الخاصة عبر موع التواصل الاجتماعي فيس بوك قائلَا:" إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون، توفي الي رحمة الله تعالى ابن عمي المهندس حسام صادق خليفة رحمة الله رحمة واسعة وأسكنه فسيح جناته ، اللهم أغفر له و ارحمه و ثبته عند السؤال وألهمنا وأهله الصبر والسلوان".

أفاد مكتب أبوظبي الإعلامي بدولة الإمارات، اليوم الجمعة، بأنه في إطار المتابعة المستمرة للحادث الذي أعلن عنه سابقاً في منشآت حبشان للغاز، والذي نجم عن سقوط شظايا نتيجة اعتراض ناجح من قبل الدفاعات الجوية، اندلع حريقان في الموقع.
وأوضح أن فرق الاستجابة للطوارئ باشرت التعامل مع الحادث بشكل فوري وبكفاءة عالية، وتمكنت من السيطرة على الوضع.
وفاة شخص مصري جراء الصواريخ الإيرانية
وأشار البيان إلى أن الحادث أسفر عن وفاة شخص من الجنسية المصرية أثناء عملية إخلاء الموقع، إضافة إلى إصابة أربعة أشخاص بإصابات طفيفة، اثنان منهم من الجنسية الباكستانية واثنان من الجنسية المصرية.
كما لفت إلى وقوع أضرار جسيمة في المنشآت، في وقت لا تزال فيه الجهات المختصة تواصل أعمال التقييم لحصر الخسائر وتحديد حجم الأضرار.
وفي سياق منفصل أكدت الهيئة العامة للبيئة في الكويت وشركة شركة البترول الوطنية الكويتية أن قراءات أنظمة الرصد البيئية وبيانات محطات قياس جودة الهواء في مصفاة ميناء الأحمدي لم تسجل أي مستويات غير طبيعية عقب اندلاع حرائق في عدد من وحدات المصفاة نتيجة استهدافها بطائرات مسيرة فجر اليوم.
