Two killed, two injured in Israeli airstrike on eastern Lebanon

Beirut, March 5 (QNA) – Two people were killed and two others injured in an Israeli airstrike on eastern Lebanon.

The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health stated in a press release that the airstrike, which targeted a car on the Zahle-Karak highway, resulted in the deaths of two people and injuries to two others.

Simultaneously, Israel launched a number of airstrikes on various areas in southern Lebanon.

The Lebanese National News Agency reported that an Israeli airstrike targeted the area between the towns of Abba and Jebchit in the Nabatieh district and governorate, while the town of Zawtar al-Gharbiya was also subjected to a similar strike.

Israeli warplanes also attacked the areas of Roumine and Mefdoun in Nabatieh. These intensified raids, which targeted various areas in Lebanon, including the southern suburbs of the capital, Beirut, come in conjunction with the wave of escalation witnessed in the Middle East region.

بيروت في 05 مارس /قنا/ قتل شخصان وأصيب اثنان آخران بجروح في غارة للكيان الإسرائيلي على شرق لبنان.
وأفادت وزارة الصحة العامة اللبنانية، في بيان، بأن الغارة التي استهدفت سيارة على الطريق السريع " زحلة الكرك"، أدت إلى مقتل شخصين وإصابة اثنين آخرين بجروح.
وبالتزامن جدد الكيان الإسرائيلي شن عدد من الغارات على مناطق متفرقة في جنوب لبنان.
وأفادت الوكالة الوطنية اللبنانية للإعلام، بأن غارة إسرائيلية استهدفت المنطقة الواقعة بين بلدتي " عبا " و" جبشيت" ضمن قضاء ومحافظة " النبطية "، فيما تعرضت بلدة " زوطر" الغربية لغارة مماثلة.
كما أغار الطيران الحربي الإسرائيلي على منطقتي "رومين" و" ميفدون" في " النبطية".
وتأتي هذه الغارات المكثفة التي طالت مناطق متفرقة في لبنان بما فيها الضاحية الجنوبية للعاصمة " بيروت" بالتزامن مع موجة التصعيد التي تشهدها منطقة الشرق الأوسط.
