Iranian drones targeted the Azadi camp, which houses members of the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran (KDPI) and their families displaced from eastern Kurdistan, in the Koya district of Erbil province in southern Kurdistan.

Roj News Agency reported that initial information indicates one person was injured in the attack, but the exact number of casualties is unknown.

The attack was carried out by suicide drones and directly hit the camp's hospital.

The Koya district administration stated that the attack was carried out by a suicide drone that crashed directly into the camp's hospital. Another drone targeted a warehouse.

The security and field situation at the site of the attack remains unstable. A large fire broke out in the targeted warehouse, causing explosions and scattering shrapnel over a wide area.

وأفادت وكالة “روج نيوز”، أن المعطيات الأولية تشير إلى إصابة شخص نتيجة الهجوم، من دون معرفة الحصيلة الدقيقة للخسائر.

الاستهداف جاء بطائرات مسيرة انتحارية وطال مستشفى المخيم بشكل مباشر

بدوره قال قائممقامية قضاء كويا إن الهجوم كان عبر طائرة مسيرة انتحارية سقطت مباشرة على المستشفى التابع للمخيم.في حين استهدفت طائرة مسيرة أخرى مستودعاً.

ولا يزال الوضع الأمني والميداني في موقع الحادث غير مستقر، حيث اندلع حريق كبير جراء في المستودع المستهدف ما أدى لحدوث انفجارات وتطاير الشظايا لمسافت بعيدة.
