Local sources reported that international coalition forces carried out an airdrop operation at dawn on Wednesday in the Atmeh area of Idlib countryside, northwestern Syria, with the participation of Syrian military units.

The sources said the operation began at 2:00 AM, with intense helicopter flights over the area, coinciding with the encirclement of several residential neighborhoods. Aircraft continued to hover over the area throughout the operation.

The sources explained that light gunfire was heard twice during the airdrop, but no direct clashes or exchange of fire was recorded between the attacking forces and other parties in the area.

ذكرت مصادر محلية أن قوات التحالف الدولي نفذت عملية إنزال جوي فجر الأربعاء في منطقة أطمة بريف إدلب شمال غربي سوريا، بمشاركة وحدات عسكرية سورية.


وقالت المصادر إن العملية بدأت عند الساعة الثانية بعد منتصف الليل، حيث شهدت المنطقة تحليقاً مكثفاً للمروحيات، تزامناً مع تطويق عدد من الأحياء السكنية، فيما استمر الطيران بالتحليق في سماء المنطقة طوال مدة العملية.


وأوضحت المصادر أن إطلاق نار خفيف سُمع مرتين خلال الإنزال، من دون تسجيل أي اشتباكات مباشرة أو تبادل للنيران بين القوات المهاجمة وأطراف أخرى في المنطقة.
