With support from the International Coalition, the SDF arrests a dangerous ISIS leader

Shafaq News – Raqqa: On Tuesday, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Operations Teams (TOL), with support from the International Coalition, carried out a precise and targeted security operation in the city of Tabqa, in the Raqqa countryside, resulting in the arrest of a dangerous ISIS terrorist. The SDF stated in a press release, which Shafaq News obtained, that "the operation came after monitoring the movements and activities of the terrorist, Ahmed Abdul Qader al-Moussa, a resident of Tabqa. His hideout was raided, and he was arrested without any clashes." The statement explained that "the detainee oversaw the receipt and delivery of weapons and military equipment and their distribution to terrorist cells, in addition to monitoring SDF military positions." According to the statement, the forces seized a quantity of weapons and hand grenades from the terrorist during the raid, confirming the continuation of security operations against the remnants of ISIS cells. This statement comes hours after the SDF announced a meeting held in Tabqa between a military committee from its forces. A delegation from the Syrian government met with them to discuss the tensions in the vicinity of the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh neighborhoods in Aleppo, and ways to address them peacefully.

شفق نيوز- الرقةنفذت فرق العمليات العسكرية (TOL) التابعة لقوات سوريا الديمقراطية "قسد"، وبدعم من قوات التحالف الدولي، يوم الثلاثاء، عملية أمنية نوعية ومحكمة في مدينة الطبقة بريف الرقة، أسفرت عن اعتقال إرهابي خطير في "داعش".وذكرت "قسد" في بيان، اطلعت عليه وكالة شفق نيوز، أن "العملية جاءت بعد رصد تحركات ونشاطات الإرهابي المدعو أحمد عبد القادر الموسى، وهو من أبناء مدينة الطبقة، حيث تمت مداهمة وكره وإلقاء القبض عليه دون وقوع اشتباكات".وأوضحت أن "الموقوف كان يشرف على عمليات استلام وتسليم الأسلحة والمعدات العسكرية وتوزيعها على الخلايا الإرهابية، إضافةً إلى مراقبة النقاط العسكرية التابعة لقوات سوريا الديمقراطية".وطبقاً للبيان، فإن القوات ضبطت مع الإرهابي كمية من الأسلحة والقنابل اليدوية أثناء المداهمة، مؤكداً استمرار العمليات الأمنية ضد فلول خلايا تنظيم "داعش".يأتي هذا البيان، بعد ساعات من إعلان "قسد"، عن اجتماع عُقد في مدينة الطبقة بين لجنة عسكرية من قواتها ووفد من الحكومة السورية، حيث جرى خلاله بحث التوترات الحاصلة بمحيط حيي الشيخ مقصود والأشرفية في مدينة حلب، وسبل معالجتها بالطرق السلمية.
