According to the Guardian Council’s news portal, Dr. Hadi Tahan-Nazif, a jurist member and spokesperson of the Guardian Council, met with the family of election observer martyr Alireza Jalalifar, one of those killed in the 12-day war, on the eve of the anniversary of the birth of Imam Ali.

The Guardian Council spokesperson stated that oversight of national elections—including presidential, parliamentary, and Assembly of Experts elections—is carried out through a popular network composed of approximately 200,000 to 300,000 individuals from different segments of society. Dr. Tahan-Nazif emphasized that these individuals are not employees of the Guardian Council. After completing the necessary training, they are present at polling stations on election day to safeguard the integrity and protection of the people’s votes. He noted that during what he called the “Second Sacred Defense,” also known as the twelve-day war, 25 members of the Guardian Council’s supervisory network were killed. He added: “Today, we consider it our duty to visit the families of these individuals and express gratitude for their efforts in safeguarding the rights of the people.”

Jalalifar’s father also spoke during the meeting, saying: “Alireza always paid his religious dues. Even when he was a student and worked part-time jobs, he remained committed to paying the dues from whatever income he received.” He added that after completing his studies, Alireza worked at one or two organizations but eventually said: “My personality is not suited to these environments. I want to serve in an organization where a spiritual atmosphere and a spirit of jihad prevail.”

The father said that Alireza regularly visited and checked on his family. “He had a very deep devotion to Imam Ali and placed special importance on organizing Ghadir celebrations. In the end, he too became heavenly during the days of Eid al-Ghadir and was martyred. On the morning of the day he was killed, he first prepared materials for the celebration and then left and was killed.”

Mr. Jalalifar added: “My son had chosen his path, and we knew that the end of this road would be martyrdom.”

During the meeting, election observer veteran Hassan Joftpasand, who had been injured during the 12-day war, was also honored by the Guardian Council spokesperson. Joftpasand, a longtime friend of Alireza Jalalifar, was wounded at the scene where Jalalifar was killed.

Joftpasand said: “I had a thirty-year friendship and close family relationship with Alireza. I had great affection for his parents and brother.” He added: “When the war began, at around 3 a.m., Alireza called me. He was preparing for the Ghadir ceremony. We talked about the situation, and he was certain that we would win this war.”

Joftpasand said that Alireza’s absence is felt everywhere—in the workplace, at religious gatherings, and at their local base. “His voice had a special emotional quality. Whenever he recited elegies, he changed the atmosphere for all of us.”

He also referred to Jalalifar’s charitable and cultural activities, saying that he had quietly worked in charity organizations and would volunteer during certain times of the year to help people in need.

Mohsen Shabani, another friend of Jalalifar, recalled meeting him at Tehran’s Masoudieh Grand Mosque and said: “Ali was an ethical and principled person. I never saw bad behavior from him. He lived like a martyr.”

He added: “Once Ali told me that he had seen the story of his own life in a dream, and that it ended with martyrdom in a battle against the Zionist regime. But he wondered how such a dream would eventually be interpreted.”

Shabani also recalled that although Jalalifar served as an election observer, he once mistakenly received compensation for a period of service. According to him, Jalalifar pursued the matter persistently until the money was returned to the public treasury.

به گزارش پایگاه اطلاع‌رسانی شورای نگهبان، دکتر هادی طحان‌نظیف عضو حقوقدان و سخنگوی شورای نگهبان در آستانه سالروز میلاد حضرت امیرالمومنین (ع) با خانواده شهید ناظر «علیرضا جلالی‌فر» از شهدای جنگ ۱۲ روزه دیدار و گفت‌و‌گو کرد.
سخنگوی شورای نگهبان در ادامه سخنان خود گفت: نظارت بر انتخابات‌های ملی از جمله ریاست‌جمهوری، مجلس شورای اسلامی و مجلس خبرگان رهبری توسط شبکه‌ای مردمی انجام می‌شود که حدود ۲۰۰ تا ۳۰۰ هزار نفر از اقشار مختلف مردم عضو آن هستند. دکتر طحان‌نظیف تاکید کرد که این افراد در استخدام شورای نگهبان نیستند و پس از گذراندن دوره‌های آموزشی لازم، در روز رأی‌گیری در پای صندوق‌های رأی حضور یافته و از سلامت و صیانت آرای ملت پاسداری می‌کنند. وی خاطرنشان کرد: در جریان دفاع مقدس دوم موسوم به جنگ دوازده‌روزه، ۲۵ نفر از اعضای شبکه نظارت شورای نگهبان به فیض عظیم شهادت نائل آمدند. امروز وظیفه خود می‌دانیم که با خانواده‌های این عزیزان دیدار کرده و از مجاهدت‌های آنان در صیانت از حقوق مردم سپاسگزاری کنیم.

پدر شهید جلالی‌فر نیز در این دیدار بیان داشت: علیرضا همواره وجوهات خود را پرداخت می‌کرد. حتی آن زمانی که دانشجو بود و کار‌های پاره‌وقت انجام می‌داد نیز مقید بود که وجوهات دریافتی‌هایش را پرداخت کند.وی خاطرنشان کرد: پس از دوره تحصیلی، در یکی دو سازمان مشغول به کار شد، اما گفت روحیاتم با این فضا‌ها سازگار نیست و دوست دارم در سازمانی خدمت کنم که فضای معنوی و روحیه جهاد بر آن حاکم باشد. پدر شهید عنوان کرد: علیرضا همواره به ما سر می‌زد و پیگیر احوال ما بود. بسیار امیرالمومنینی بود و نسبت به برگزاری جشن غدیر اهتمام ویژه‌ای داشت؛ در نهایت نیز در ایام عید غدیر آسمانی شد و به شهادت رسید. صبح آن روزی که به شهادت رسید، ابتدا وسایل برگزاری جشن را فراهم کرد و سپس رفت و شهید شد.آقای جلالی‌فر اظهار داشت: فرزندم راهش را انتخاب کرده بود و ما می‌دانستیم که عاقبت این مسیر، شهادت خواهد بود.
تجلیل از جانباز ناظر «حسن جفت‌پسند»در این دیدار،
جانباز ناظر «حسن جفت‌پسند» که از جانبازان جنگ ۱۲ روزه و ناظران انتخاباتی بود نیز حضور داشت و مورد تجلیل از سوی سخنگوی شورای نگهبان قرار گرفت. این جانباز از دوستان شهید علیرضا جلالی‌فر بود و در صحنه شهادت جلالی‌فر جانباز شد. جفت‌پسند گفت: من با علیرضا رفاقت سی ساله و رفت و آمد خانوادگی داشتم. ارادات ویژه‌ای نسبت به پدر و مادر و برادر ایشان دارم. وی افزود: جنگ که آغاز شد، حدود ساعت ۳ صبح بود که علیرضا تماس گرفت. او در تدارک برگزاری مراسم غدیر بود. در خصوص اوضاع و احوال گفت‌و‌گو کردیم و او مطمئن بود که در این جنگ پیروز خواهیم شد. جانباز جفت‌پسند اظهار کرد: خلاء وجود علیرضا هم در محیط کار و هم در هیئت و هم در پایگاه احساس می‌شود. صدایش نیز سوز خاصی داشت و هرگاه ذکر مصیبت می‌خواند، حال و هوای ما را عوض می‌کرد. وی به دیگر فعالیت‌های این شهید نیز اشاره کرد و گفت: شهید جلالی‌فر در حوزه‌های فرهنگی و خیریه نیز فعالیت داشت که کمتر کسی خبر داشت. او در برخی ایام سال برای کمک به نیازمندان در خیریه‌ها حضور پیدا می‌کرد و به فعالیت می‌پرداخت.
محسن شعبانی از دوستان شهید جلالی‌فر نیز با اشاره به سابقه آشنایی خود با این شهید در مسجد جامع مسعودیه تهران گفت: علی انسان اخلاق‌مداری بود. هیچگاه رفتاری بدی از ایشان ندیدم. ایشان شهیدانه زندگی کرد. وی افزود: علی یک بار به من گفت که من سرگذشت زندگی خود را در خواب دیده‌ام که سرانجام آن شهادت در نبرد با رژیم صهیونیستی است. اما در تعجب بود که این خواب چگونه تعبیر خواهد شد.
او ناظر انتخاباتی بود، اما در یک دوره به اشتباه حق‌الزحمه‌ای برای او واریز شده بود که وی بسیار پیگیری کرد تا آن پول را به بیت‌المال بازگرداند.
