Gaza, October 16, 2023 (WAFA) – Dozens of Palestinians were killed and dozens more wounded on Monday afternoon in a series of airstrikes launched by Israeli warplanes, on the tenth day of the Israeli offensive against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

WAFA's correspondent reported that a number of Palestinians were killed and dozens wounded in an Israeli airstrike on the home of the Radi family in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

He added that three Palestinians were killed and others wounded in a missile strike by a warplane on a house in the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip. The wounded were transferred to the Indonesian Hospital in the neighboring town of Beit Lahia.

He noted that Israeli artillery shelled another house in the camp, killing one Palestinian and wounding four others.

Our correspondent also reported that 17 Palestinians were killed and others wounded when the home of the Zaqmat family in Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip, was bombed. The wounded were transferred to Nasser Hospital in the city.

In a related development, a warplane bombed a residential apartment building west of Gaza City, while Israeli naval vessels fired several shells at the fishermen's port west of the city.

He added that at least seven civilians, including children, were wounded in an artillery shelling that targeted a group of civilians in the Ezbet Beit Hanoun area in the northern Gaza Strip.

He noted that at least two civilians were killed and 11 others wounded in the bombing of the Abu Rukba family home in Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip.

Our correspondent confirmed that Israeli warplanes intensified their airstrikes on the Gaza Strip, targeting civilian homes, property, and infrastructure.

He pointed out that more than a thousand bodies remain buried under the rubble of destroyed homes, and rescue teams are facing difficulties in recovering them due to a shortage of equipment.

In a preliminary count, the Ministry of Health announced today that the number of martyrs as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression against our people in Gaza and the West Bank has risen to 2,808, and the number of wounded to 10,950.

The Ministry explained in a brief press statement that the number of martyrs in the Gaza Strip has risen to 2,750, and the number of wounded to 9,700, while in the West Bank the number of martyrs has reached 58 and the number of wounded 1,250, since the beginning of the aggression on October 7th.

غزة 16-10-2023 وفا- ارتقى عشرات الشهداء، وأصيب عشرات آخرون، ظهر اليوم الإثنين، في سلسلة غارات شنها طيران الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، في اليوم العاشر للعدوان على شعبنا في قطاع غزة.

وأفاد مراسل "وفا"، بأن عددا من الشهداء ارتقَوا وعشرات الجرحى أصيبوا في غارة إسرائيلية على منزل لعائلة راضي في مخيم النصيرات وسط القطاع.

وأضاف ثلاثة مواطنين استشهدوا وأصيب آخرون في قصف صاروخي من طائرة حربية لمنزل في مخيم جباليا شمال القطاع، وتم نقلهم إلى المستشفى الإندونيسي، في بلدة بيت لاهيا المجاورة.

وأشار إلى أن مدفعية الاحتلال قصفت بقذيفة منزلا آخر في المخيم، ما أدى إلى استشهاد مواطن وإصابة أربعة آخرين.

وقال مراسلنا، إن 17 مواطنا استشهدوا وأصيب آخرون بعد قصف منزل لعائلة زقماط، في مدينة خان يونس جنوب القطاع، ونُقلوا إلى مستشفى ناصر في المدينة.

وفي السياق، قصفت طائرة حربية شقة سكنية غرب مدينة غزة، كما استهدفت زوارق الاحتلال بعدد من القذائف في محيط ميناء الصيادين إلى الغرب من المدينة.

وأضاف أنه أصيب سبعة مواطنين على الأقل، بينهم أطفال في قصف مدفعي استهدف مجموعة من المواطنين في منطقة عزبة بيت حانون شمال القطاع.

ولفت إلى أنه استُشهد مواطنان على الأقل، وأصيب 11 آخرون في قصف منزل لعائلة أبو ركبة، في مدينة خان يونس جنوب القطاع.

وأكد مراسلنا أن طائرات الاحتلال الحربية كثفت غاراتها العسكرية على القطاع، مستهدفة منازل المواطنين، وممتلكاتهم، والبنية التحتية.

وأشار إلى أن أكثر من ألف شهيد ما زالوا تحت أنقاض المنازل المدمرة، وتواجه فرق الإسعاف والمنقذون صعوبة في انتشالهم من تحت الركام، بسبب النقص في المعدات اللازمة لإخراجهم.

وفي حصيلة غير نهائية، أعلنت وزارة الصحة، اليوم، ارتفاع حصيلة الشهداء جراء عدوان الاحتلال المتواصل على شعبنا في غزة والضفة إلى 2808، والمصابين إلى 10950.

وأوضحت الصحة في بيان صحفي مقتضب، أن عدد الشهداء في قطاع غزة ارتفع إلى 2750، والمصابين إلى 9700، وفي الضفة بلغ عدد الشهداء 58 والمصابين 1250، منذ بداية العدوان في السابع من تشرين الأول/ أكتوبر الجاري.
