A Palestinian journalist and his son were killed Tuesday in an Israeli airstrike that targeted their home in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

The local Al-Quds Al-Youm TV channel said in a statement that "journalist Salem Abu Tayour and his son Hamza were martyred in an Israeli attack on their home in the Nuseirat camp."

The channel added: "As we mourn another colleague on the path to Jerusalem and liberation, we affirm our commitment to continuing our resistance media mission."

وقالت قناة "القدس اليوم" المحلية في بيان، إن "الصحفي في القناة سالم أبو طيور استشهد ونجله حمزة في استهداف إسرائيلي لمنزله بمخيم النصيرات".

وأضافت القناة: "إننا إذ ننعى زميلًا جديدًا على طريق القدس والتحرير، نؤكد على مواصلتنا لرسالتنا الإعلامية المقاومة".
