The Dubai government announced late Saturday/early Sunday that its international airport was involved in an incident that injured four people, coinciding with Iranian attacks in the country in response to ongoing US-Israeli aggression.

The Dubai Media Office stated in a statement on its account on the US-based company X platform that "Dubai Airports confirmed an incident at Dubai International Airport."

It added: "Emergency response teams were immediately activated and are handling the incident in coordination with the relevant authorities. Four people were injured and received the necessary urgent medical assistance."

No further details were provided about the incident, but Arab media outlets and circulating videos showed damage to a building at Dubai Airport following an Iranian missile strike.

وأفاد المكتب الإعلامي لحكومة دبي، في بيان عبر حسابه بمنصة شركة إكس الأمريكية، بأن "مطارات دبي أكدت وقوع حادث في مطار دبي الدولي".

وأضاف: "وقد تم تفعيل فرق الاستجابة الطارئة على الفور حيث يتم التعامل مع الحادث بالتنسيق مع الجهات المختصة. وقد أسفر ذلك عن وقوع 4 إصابات وتم تقديم المساعدة الطبية العاجلة اللازمة لهم".

ولم تقدم تفاصيل أكثر بشأن الحادث، غير أن وسائل إعلام عربية ومقاطع فيديو متداولة نقلت مشاهد لأضرار تعرض لها مبنى في مطار دبي إثر استهداف صاروخي إيراني.
