Abu Dhabi Airports announced late Saturday/early Sunday the death of an Asian national and seven injuries following an incident at Zayed International Airport.

This comes amid Iranian attacks targeting the UAE in response to ongoing US-Israeli aggression.

Abu Dhabi Airports stated in a post on the US-based company X's platform that "an incident at Zayed International Airport resulted in the death of an Asian national and seven injuries," without specifying the nature of the incident.

Earlier on Saturday, the UAE announced that it had been subjected to Iranian attacks targeting several areas in the country, particularly in the capital, Abu Dhabi, resulting in the death of a resident.

On Saturday morning, Israel and the United States launched an offensive against Iran, codenamed "Operation Lion's Roar," with US President Donald Trump announcing that the United States had launched "large-scale combat operations" in Iran.

وقالت "مطارات أبوظبي"، في تدوينة عبر منصة شركة إكس الأمريكية: إن "حادثة بمطار زايد الدولي أدت لوفاة شخص من جنسية آسيوية و7 إصابات"، دون تحديد طبيعة الحادث.

وفي وقت سابق السبت، أعلنت الإمارات تعرضها لهجمات إيرانية استهدفت عدة مناطق بالبلاد لاسيما بالعاصمة أبو ظبي، وأسفرت عن مقتل مقيم.

وصباح السبت، بدأت إسرائيل والولايات المتحدة عدوانا ضد إيران، تحت اسم "زئير الأسد"، فيما أعلن الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب أن الولايات المتحدة أطلقت "عمليات قتالية واسعة النطاق" في إيران.
