The Director General of Hospitals in the Gaza Strip, Muhammad Zaqout, stated that a large number of martyrs and wounded are being received following Israeli airstrikes in Khan Younis and Rafah early Tuesday morning.

He confirmed that hospitals are no longer able to accommodate the influx of casualties.

Al-Ghad's correspondent reported that the death toll from the latest Israeli airstrikes on homes in Khan Younis and Rafah has risen to over 80.

In Khan Younis, our correspondent reported that Israeli warplanes carried out a series of attacks on civilian homes in various areas of the city, resulting in over 60 Palestinian martyrs so far and more than 150 injuries. Rescue teams are continuing to recover bodies and search for survivors under the rubble.

He pointed out that last night's airstrikes were the most intense on Khan Younis, at a time when medical teams are under increasing pressure, unable to cope with the large number of wounded due to shortages of equipment and medicine, and overcrowded hospitals.

Footage showed medical teams attempting to treat a number of those injured in the airstrikes, including children.

The massacres began in the early hours of the night, when the Israeli Air Force targeted the Khan Younis refugee camp, resulting in the deaths of six Palestinians and injuries to dozens, mostly women and children.

A massacre also occurred in the town of Bani Suheila and the Dutch Quarter area, located west of Nasser Medical Complex in the southern Gaza Strip.

قال مدير عام المستشفيات في قطاع غزة، محمد زقوت، إن هناك أعدادا كبيرة من الشهداء والمصابين يتم استقبالهم بعد قصف إسرائيلي في خانيونس ورفح، فجر اليوم الثلاثاء.

وأكد أن المستشفيات لم تعد قادرة على استيعاب أعداد الشهداء والمصابين.

وأفاد مراسل الغد بارتفاع أعداد الشهداء جراء القصف الإسرائيلي الأخير على المنازل في خانيونس ورفح إلى أكثر من 80 شهيدا.

وقال مراسلنا عشرات الشهداء، وغالبيتهم من الأطفال، قد سقطوا في قصف إسرائيلي غربي مدينة رفح.

وفي خانيونس، قال مراسلنا إن طائرات الجيش الإسرائيلي نفذت سلسلة مجازر ضد منازل المواطنين بمناطق متفرقة في خانيونس، أوقعت ما يزيد عن 60 شهيدا فلسطينيا حتى اللحظة، وأكثر من 150 إصابة، فيما تواصل أطقم الإغاثة انتشال الجثث والبحث عن ناجين تحت الأنقاض.

ولفت إلى أن غارات ليلة الأمس هي الأعنف على خانيونس، في الوقت الذي يزداد في الضغط على الطواقم الطبية غير القادرة على التعامل مع الأعداد الكبيرة للمصابين في ظل افتقاد الأدوات والأدوية وامتلاء المستشفيات.

وأظهرت لقطات محاولة الأطقم الطبية إسعاف عدد من المصابين في الغارات ومن بينهم أطفال.




وبدأت المجازر منذ ساعات الليل، حيث استهدف سلاح الجو الإسرائيلي مخيم خانيونس، ما أسفر عن استشهاد 6 فلسطينيين وإصابة العشرات، أغلبهم نساء وأطفال.

كذلك وقعت مجزرة في بلدة بني سهيلة ومنطقة الحي الهولندي الواقعة غرب مجمع ناصر الطبي جنوب قطاع.

وفي منطقة بطن السمين وقعت مجزرة إسرائيلية راح ضحيتها عدد من الشهداء، وآخر تلك المجازر كان في منطقة مستشفى غزة الأوروبي شرق خانيونس ما أدى إلى استشهاد 8 وإصابة العشرات.

وأوضح مراسلنا أن عدد الإصابات لا يمكن حصره، ولا تزال الطواقم الطبية والإغاثية تحاول إخراج جثامين الشهداء والبحث عن مصابين.

وأشار إلى إطلاق رشقات صاروخية من جنوب قطاع غزة باتجاه بلدات إسرائيلية.
