Twelve Lebanese were killed in an Israeli airstrike targeting a health center in southern Lebanon, while Hezbollah launched several drone and rocket attacks on Israel after midnight, amid the ongoing Israeli offensive against Lebanon that began on March 2.

The Lebanese National News Agency, quoting the Ministry of Health, reported early Saturday morning that at least 12 medical staff members were killed in an Israeli attack on a healthcare center in the town of Burj Qalawiya in southern Lebanon.

The ministry stated that the death toll was preliminary, as rescue operations were still underway to search for the missing.

وذكرت ⁠وكالة الأنباء اللبنانية -نقلا عن ⁠وزارة الصحة فجر اليوم السبت- أن ⁠ما لا يقل عن 12 من العاملين ‌في الطاقم الطبي قتلوا في هجوم إسرائيلي على مركز للرعاية الصحية ⁠في بلدة برج قلاوية ⁠في جنوب لبنان.

وقالت الوزارة إن ⁠حصيلة القتلى ⁠أولية، إذ ⁠لا تزال عمليات الإنقاذ جارية للبحث عن ‌المفقودين.
