A Kurdish media source reported that three Iranian drones targeted the Azadi camp, belonging to Iranian Kurdish opposition parties in the Raparin administration of the Kurdistan Region, on Tuesday, March 3, 2026.

According to Kurdistan24, the mayor of Koya district, Tariq al-Haidari, stated that one drone directly hit the hospital within the Azadi camp, while another targeted an ammunition depot.

The mayor confirmed that only one minor injury has been reported so far. Al-Haidari attributed the limited casualties to preemptive measures, as the camp was completely evacuated before the attack.

According to the source, the security situation at the site of the incident remains unstable, as the targeting of the ammunition depot resulted in fires and ongoing explosions from flying ammunition and weapons.

وفق كوردستان24، قال قائممقام قضاء كويسنجق، طارق الحيدري، إن إحدى الطائرات المسيرة سقطت بشكل مباشر على المستشفى التابع لمخيم "آزادي"، في حين استهدفت طائرة مسيرة أخرى مستودعاً للذخيرة.

وأكد قائممقام كويسنجق تسجيل إصابة واحدة طفيفة فقط حتى الآن. وعزا الحيدري محدودية الخسائر البشرية إلى الإجراءات الاستباقية، حيث تم إخلاء المخيم بالكامل قبل وقوع الهجوم.

وحسب المصدر، لا يزال الوضع الأمني والميداني في موقع الحادث غير مستقر، إذ أن استهداف مستودع الذخيرة أدى إلى اندلاع حرائق واستمرار دوي الانفجارات الناتجة عن تطاير الذخائر والأسلحة.
