Puntland’s counter-terrorism operation said an airstrike targeted ISIS militants in the Al-Calmisqaad mountains.

The strike was carried out by the United States in cooperation with Puntland, the operation said.

The exact number of casualties in the strike was not disclosed.

The strike took place in the Maragade well area, where ISIS militants were said to be hiding.

Maragade is part of the Balade River.
