استشهد ثمانية أفراد من عائلة فلسطينية واحدة في خان يونس، خلال غارة جوية شنها الاحتلال الإسرائيلي اليوم الاثنين 9 أكتوبر 2023.وقالت وزارة الخارجية الفلسطينية، إن طائرات الاحتلال استهدفت منزلا يعود لعائلة قنن غرب خان يونس دون سابق إنذار، ما أدى إلى ارتقاء العائلة بأكملها تتكون من ٨ أفراد شهداء.وفي السياق نفسه شن الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، غارة جوية على الحي السعودي غرب مدينة رفح، جنوب قطاع غزة، أسفرت عن إصابة عدد من المواطنين الفلسطينيين، بحسب ما أوردته وكالة الأنباء الفلسطينية "وفا".وأكد شهود عيان أن طائرات الاحتلال قصفت منزلا يعود لعائلة أبو لبدة، ما أسفر عن إصابة عدد من الفلسطينيين، جرى نقلهم إلى مستشفى أبو يوسف النجار.ويشن الاحتلال الإسرائلي عدوانا على غزة ردا على عملية المقاومة الفلسطينية "طوفان الأقصى" التي انطلقت أمس الأول السبت 7 أكتوبر، وأسفرت عن مئات القتلى وآلاف المصابين، إلى جانب أعداد كبيرة من الأسرى الذين جلبتهم المقاومة من مستوطنات غلاف غزة.وتبذل مصر جهودا كبيرة للتهدئة بين الجانبين ووقف التصعيد المتبادل، وحذرت وزارة الخارجية في بيان صادر صباح السبت 7 أكتوبر الجاري من مخاطر وخيمة للتصعيد بين الجانبين الفلسطيني والإسرائيلي، في أعقاب سلسلة من الاعتداءات ضد المدن الفلسطينية.ودعت مصر إلى ممارسة أقصى درجات ضبط النفس، وتجنب تعريض المدنيين للمزيد من المخاطر، محذرةً من تداعيات خطيرة نتيجة تصاعد حدة العنف، الأمر الذي من شأنه أن يؤثر سلبًا على مستقبل جهود التهدئة.ودعت مصر الأطراف الفاعلة دوليًا، والمنخرطة في دعم جهود استئناف عملية السلام، إلى التدخل الفوري لوقف التصعيد الجاري، وحث إسرائيل على وقف الاعتداءات والأعمال الاستفزازية ضد الشعب الفلسطيني، والالتزام بقواعد القانون الدولي الإنساني فيما يتعلق بمسئوليات الدولة القائمة بالاحتلال.
