Urgent: Palestinian Woman Killed, 30 Others Injured in Series of Airstrikes on Gaza

A 32-year-old Palestinian woman was killed, and approximately 30 others, mostly children, were injured today in intense airstrikes launched by Israeli warplanes on various areas in the Gaza Strip.

WAFA news agency, citing medical sources at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, reported the death of Huda al-Khazendar and the injury of six others, including three children, when Israeli warplanes targeted the home of the Khawalda family in the al-Satar al-Gharbi area of the city.

Four children were also injured in a missile strike on a home belonging to the Islim family in the al-Sabra neighborhood in central Gaza City. They were transferred to al-Shifa Hospital, where the condition of a 10-year-old girl was described as critical after she suffered an amputation of her leg from shrapnel.

Israeli warplanes bombed a house in the Al-Mashtal area northwest of Gaza City, completely destroying it and damaging neighboring homes. They also bombed the main street in the Al-Safatawi area north of the city with several missiles, creating deep craters and causing extensive damage to homes, shops, and other civilian property.

Israeli warplanes targeted several streets and agricultural lands at the entrance to Al-Da'wa Street in the Nuseirat refugee camp, as well as a house in the Al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, causing widespread destruction.

Israeli artillery fired dozens of shells at civilian homes and agricultural lands in the eastern and northern border areas of the Gaza Strip, causing extensive damage to civilian property and agricultural land. The death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip has reached 229 martyrs for the eleventh consecutive day, including 65 children and 38 women, with 1,620 wounded. In the West Bank, the toll has reached 27 martyrs, including 4 children and one woman, with 5,164 wounded. A young man was martyred in occupied Jerusalem, and 1,108 others were wounded. Two young men were martyred in Lod and Umm al-Fahm.

Since April 13, the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories has exploded due to the brutal attacks by Israeli occupation forces and settlers in occupied Jerusalem, particularly against worshippers and those maintaining a presence at Al-Aqsa Mosque and its surroundings, and against those showing solidarity with our people in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, whom the occupation authorities are attempting to forcibly displace from their homes to make way for settlers.

عاجل.. استشهاد فلسطينية وإصابة 30 آخرين في سلسلة غارات على غزة



استشهدت فلسطينية تبلغ من العمر (32 عاما)، وأصيب نحو 30 آخرين اليوم، غالبيتهم أطفال، في غارات عنيفة شنّتها طائرات الاحتلال الحربية على مناطق مختلفة في قطاع غزة.
وأفادت «وفا» نقلا عن مصادر طبية بمستشفى ناصر في مدينة خان يونس جنوب القطاع، باستشهاد المواطنة هدى الخزندار، وإصابة 6 آخرين، بينهم 3 أطفال، جراء استهداف طائرات الاحتلال الحربية منزلا لعائلة الخوالدة في منطقة السطر الغربي في المدينة.
وأُصيب بينهم 4 أطفال، في قصف صاروخي لمنزل يعود لعائلة إسليم في حي الصبرة وسط مدينة غزة، نقلوا على إثرها إلى مستشفى الشفاء، حيث وصفت حالة طفلة تبلغ من العمر 10 أعوام بالخطيرة، بعدما تعرضت لبتر في القدم، بشظية الصاروخ.
وقصفت طائرات الاحتلال الحربية منزلا في منطقة المشتل شمال غرب مدينة غزة، ما أدى إلى تدميره بالكامل، وإلحاق دمار في المنازل المجاورة، إضافة إلى قصف الشارع الرئيسي في منطقة الصفطاوي شمال المدينة، بعدد من الصواريخ، ما أدى لإحداث حفر عميقة، ودمار كبير في المنازل، والمحلات التجارية، وممتلكات المواطنين في المكان.
واستهدفت طائرات الاحتلال عددا من الشوارع والأراضي زراعية على مدخل شارع الدعوة في مخيم النصيرات، إضافة لاستهداف منزل في مخيم البريج وسط قطاع غزة، وألحقت دمارا مهولا في المكان.
وأطلقت مدفعية الاحتلال عشرات القذائف صوب منازل المواطنين والأراضي الزراعية في المناطق الحدودية الشرقية والشمالية من القطاع، ما تسبب في إلحاق دمار كبير في ممتلكات المواطنين، وتخريب الأراضي الزراعية.
وبلغت حصيلة العدوان الإسرائيلي المتواصل على أبناء فلسطين قطاع غزة لليوم الحادي عشر على التوالي 229 شهيدا، بينهم 65 طفلا، و38 سيدة، وإصابة 1620، فيما بلغت الحصيلة في الضفة الغربية إلى 27 شهيدا، بينهم 4 أطفال، وسيدة، و5164 جريحا، فيما استشهد شاب في القدس المحتلة، وأصيب 1108 آخرين، واستشهد شابان في اللد وأم الفحم.
ومنذ 13 إبريل المنصرم، تفجّرت الأوضاع في الأراضي الفلسطينية المحتلة؛ جراء الاعتداءات الوحشية، لقوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي والمستوطنين، في القدس المحتلة، خاصة بحق المصلين والمرابطين في المسجد الأقصى ومحيطه، وعلى المتضامنين مع أهلنا في حي الشيخ جراح، الذين تسعى سلطات الاحتلال إلى تهجيرهم قسرا من منازلهم لصالح المستوطنين.
