Iraqi media reported that members of the Iranian Kurdish opposition group, the Kurdistan Freedom Party (PAK), were injured when their headquarters in Erbil was targeted by drones, according to Reuters.

On Wednesday, four explosions were heard in Erbil, the capital of Iraqi Kurdistan, as the war in the Middle East entered its nineteenth day, according to AFP.

Smoke was seen rising over Erbil from one of its suburbs. The city's airport has hosted forces from the US-led international coalition against extremists since 2014, as well as a large US consulate.

Footage circulating on social media early Wednesday morning showed a commercial warehouse in the Koya district, east of Erbil, being targeted by a suicide drone.

ومن إحدى ضواحي أربيل، شوهد دخان يتصاعد في سماء المدينة التي يتسضيف مطارها قوات التحالف الدولي لمحاربة المتطرفين الذي تقوده واشنطن منذ العام 2014، وقنصلية أمريكية ضخمة. 

وأظهرت مشاهد جرى تداولها فجر اليوم عبر منصات التواصل الاجتماعي، استهداف مستودع تجاري في قضاء "كوية" شرقي مدينة أربيل بواسطة طائرة مسيرة انتحارية.
