With hearts believing in God's decree and destiny, the Abu Nahal family, both at home and abroad, in Palestine and the people of Gaza, mourn the martyr, Mukhtar Abdul Ghaffar Odeh,
Abu Al-Walid,
Mukhtar of the Northern Region, and his son, Wahib, who joined their friends:
Abu Wissam Al-Ghoul and his friend, Aslim,
Abu Islam Al-Atawneh, and Abu Shamikh Abu Khousa.
On behalf of the Abu Nahal family, the Palestinian Mukhtars Association, the National Reconciliation Committee, the Palestinian clans, and the Palestinian Family Gathering, we mourn the leader and men of political and national reform in Gaza and its great people, our dear brother Abu Al-Walid Odeh. May God grant him eternal paradise.
We pray that God have mercy on them and forgive them.
To God we belong and to Him we shall return. We are returning to God, and there is no power nor strength except with God.
