"And never think that those who have been killed in the cause of Allah are dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision, rejoicing in what Allah has bestowed upon them of His bounty, and they receive good tidings about those [to be martyred] after them who have not yet joined them - that there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve."

We, the sons of the martyr Haj Abu Rami, mourn the loss of my brother-in-law, the martyr Ahed Hassan Abu Asr, and his son, Hassan Ahed Abu Asr. We say only what pleases Allah. Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we will return. Sufficient for us is Allah, and He is the best Disposer of affairs.

"وَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ قُتِلُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَمْوَاتًا بَلْ أَحْيَاءٌ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ يُرْزَقُونَ ۝ فَرِحِينَ بِمَا آتَاهُمُ اللَّهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ وَيَسْتَبْشِرُونَ بِالَّذِينَ لَمْ يَلْحَقُوا بِهِمْ مِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ أَلَّا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ"

ولا نقول إلا ما يرضي الله
إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون
وحسبنا الله ونعم الوكيل
