We mourn the loss of our beloved cousin, Engineer Shadi al-Batata, who was killed in a treacherous bombing that targeted his home. He was martyred along with a group of those who had sought refuge in his family's house.

God chooses the righteous and virtuous. May God grant you peace, dear friend.
