On behalf of myself, my brothers, and my uncles, I extend my deepest gratitude and appreciation to all who shared in our profound grief over the martyrdom of my brother Basem, whether by attending the funeral, the wake, or through social media. May God protect you from all harm. O God, strengthen our hearts and grant us patience and solace. May God have mercy on you, my beloved, my companion, and the light of my eyes. I ask you to pray for him and that Paradise be his birthplace, in the company of the prophets, the righteous, the martyrs, and what excellent companions they are.
