Abu Dhabi: Two killed, three injured by shrapnel from intercepted ballistic missile

Authorities in Abu Dhabi announced on Thursday that two people were killed and three others injured when shrapnel fell on Sweihan Street following the interception of a ballistic missile launched from Iran. According to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), the Abu Dhabi Media Office stated that the identities of the two victims have not yet been determined, and confirmed that several vehicles on the street were also damaged by the falling shrapnel.

‏ أعلنت الجهات المختصة في أبوظبي اليوم الخميس، عن مقتل شخصين وإصابة 3 آخرين جراء سقوط شظايا في شارع سويحان، إثر اعتراض صاروخ باليستي من إيران.وبحسب وكالة أنباء الإمارات، أشار مكتب أبوظبي الإعلامي، الى أنه لم يتم تحديد هوية الشخصين بعد، مؤكدا أن عددا من المركبات في الشارع قد تضررت أيضا جراء سقوط الشظايا.
